My Son, My Competitor

Every Sunday, the kids and I go to either Shangri-La or Megamall whenever it’s time for ex to pick Igor up or bring Bella back to me.  Anyway, last weekend was Igor’s turn to get picked up.  So we had our dinner at Brother’s Burger where I absolutely adore the half pounder.  Though, I can’t quite figure out why it wasn’t as fulfilling even if I did order two sets of onion rings on the side.  I guess I should’ve just ordered the one pounder.

At anyrate, we spent time walking around and decided that desserts were called for so we proceeded to Krispy Kreme.  It was here that I ordered the usual Honey Glazed (any other doughnut in that shop is just too sweet for me) and my cup of coffee.  Proceeded outside of course where I can smoke liberally.  At this point I wish to mention that  Igor has a habit of going in and out whenever we go to this place.

Being true to form, that’s what he did.  This time doing his darndest best to make himself charming for the lady that assists customers with their trays.  The lady was pretty enough and I guess, relatively young as well. I was enjoying my smoke and Bella was beside me as usual, being a smarty pants when I noticed that Igor was holding another piece of doughnut.

I looked at our plate and saw his share was there.  So I decided to let Bella get him.  When they returned Bella then informed me that  the lady gave Igor a freebie!

“Way to go my boy! You learn pretty fast!” I thought to myself.  Thanked the lady and proceeded to go outside Igor in my arms to enjoy my coffee and smoke.  Of course as soon as I put him down, off goes Igor again to go inside, and I guess it made me uncomfortable as he was getting really rowdy and was afraid he might be disturbing the other patrons.  So I asked the guard at the door not to let him in anymore.  Igor didn’t like it at all.  He would push the door and tried to get inside with every chance he got, but was not fortunate enough to get through.  He finally decided to just roam around the area.

As time passed and some patrons outside left, the pretty lady comes out to clean the tables.  My boy quickly approaches her, looks up to her face and smiles.   The lady smiles back of course and then he did what surprised me, Bella and ex.  He took the ladies hand in his own and walked her to the door. I was watching intently, observing how this will all play out and just as I suspected, the lady opens the door and in he goes! “Holy Crap!” I thought.  This buttboy completely knows that he can charm women to get what he wants!

I suppose he knew a little bit of manners as he didn’t let go of the lady’s hand when she did open the door.  In fact, he pulled her hand to go with him inside the store.

I then quickly made a mental note that Igor is not to be introduced to prospective dates as he has an unfair advantage and will surely get the lady’s attention away from me.  Tsk, tsk, tsk.

That boy knows what to do. I heard that he gets away with most of anything with his mom. But him coming from my bloodline, I know what he’s up to most of the time and very wary of his actions. Hahahaha
